LA LUZ by Will Sprott.

Well, would you look at that. There's only one week left until summer officially kicks off and the gigs are multiplying as the days go by. There's loads on in Sydney this week, so here's our recommendations of what not to miss.

LOWTIDE + MINERS - Cobra Club, Waywards - FREE (Tuesday, 21st November)

Melbourne's Lowtide recently announced the release of their sophomore album 'Southern Mind' which will be dropping early 2018 via Rice Is Nice and Opposite Number. Get down to Newtown tonight to see them share some of their fuzz-infused, dreamy rock goodness. Support comes from Wollongong's Miners.

SLOW DANCER - The Golden Stage - FREE (Thursday, 23rd November)

Potentially the most romantic of places to find yourself in Sydney on a Thursday night, this week Slow Dancer will be taking to the glittery stage at Golden Age Cinema & Bar. If you're up for an evening of dim lighting and breezy folk-rock, then this is where you should be.

THE PINHEADS + CROCODYLUS - Selina's Coogee - FREE (Friday, 24th November)

Enter at your own risk, it's going to get sweaty. Wollongong's The Pinheads are taking to the stage and shit's about to get wild. No rest for the wicked, support comes from Northern Beaches garage rockers Crocodylus whose live show is just as mental.

And finally, the show you really can't miss...

KIKAGAKU MOYO + LA LUZ + MORE - Oxford Art Factory - FREE WITH RSVP (Saturday, 25 November)

Alright, that's two excellent international bands and a wealth of incredible Aussie talent for free. Fresh off the stage from Gizzfest, Japan's Kikagaku Moyo have been ruling the psych scene for some years now, and Seattle's La Luz will captivate you with their infectious surf rock. Dream Saturday, eh!
