If you hit the weekend a little too hard and you’re rummaging anxiously for a glimmer of hope, then you’ve come to the right place. This week it’s the magical first single ‘Melt’ from Fake Laugh’s forthcoming self-titled debut album.

Splitting his time between London and Berlin, Kamran Khan creates experimental pop songs smothered in fuzz and romantic melodies. He’s not afraid to take things to a heavier level, but more often than not his music is (to put it simply) bloody delightful.

Lyrically 'Melt' offers a moment of positive reflection on a situation: 'But we felt, things would melt, things would fade, that's ok. And in time, everything would turn out fine.'
