TOP-DRAWER GIGS: This Week's Top Picks

SLOW DANCER.

SLOW DANCER.

You've had the beginning of the week to chill and now it's time to gig again. There's a whole heap of great shows on this week in Sydney, in particular we're looking forward to the sold out Gold Class show at The Landsdowne on Saturday night. If you didn't get in quick enough for tickets to that, try the below beauties. For tickets to all shows, visit our Sydney Gig Guide here.

JACK BEATS + DOPE LEMON + WAAX - Beach Road Bondi - FREE (Wednesday, 12th July)

This week's edition of Sosueme is going to be the best of many worlds - something to dance to, something to chill to and something to thrash about to. Get down for an eventful evening of sounds.

SLOW DANCER + POPPONGENE + AINSLEY FARRELL - OAF Gallery - $12 (Friday, 14th July)

Fremantle's Slow Dancer creates gentle folk-rock that's full of soulful twists and turns (almost like Jonathan Wilson morphed with Matthew E. White, but slightly more polished). Support comes from Melbourne pop beauties Poppongene and Sydney's Ainsley Farrell.

JACK RIVER + GREEN BUZZARD + MOSSY + BRIGHTNESS + BODY TYPE + SHEARIN' + SUNSCREEN - Oxford Art Factory - FREE WITH RSVP (Saturday, 15th July)

I OH YOU are throwing a big party and it's free. Showcasing some of their best artists, they'll be taking over OAF in what's guaranteed to be a night of organised chaos.

FÉLICIA ATKINSON (FRANCE) + OKSUN OX + RAGTIME FRANK + PRE FAB - Freda's - FREE (Sunday, 16th July)

If you fancy a little Sunday afternoon culture to round out your weekend then Freda's is where you need to be. Felicia Atkinson blends art and music beautifully, with her spoken word drifting above electronic soundscapes - it's truly unique.
