Hookworms Share Video For New Single 'Static Resistance'

UK psych-rockers Hookworms have shared a clever new video for their latest single 'Static Resistance'. It comes just a few weeks before the release of their third album Microshift.

The band stated on their Facebook page that they, "hope it successfully illustrates the mundanity of life." With a series of daily interactions such as taking the rubbish out, stapling paper, ironing and paying bills, Hookworms have a lot of fun with this video. However, the meaning of the song itself is a little less trivial and explores a deep and constant depression experienced in 2017.

True to the Hookworms style, things get a little weird and wild on this track, just the way we like it.

Microshift is set for release Friday 2nd February via Domino Record Co. Listen below.
