Borneo Share New Single ‘Jesse’

If you’ve been to a Borneo show then you might recall their dynamic single ‘Jesse’. It’s an animated number that requires precision, enthusiasm and intensity - from both the band and often the audience too. To summarise, it's a real good time.

‘Jesse’ is the second single from their forthcoming EP Rebel Mindtricks, and it's just as infectious on tape as it is in the flesh. Produced by Nick Franklin, the band said the EP, "covers a fair bit of territory with songs about saving the world, freedom, the ticking clock, attachments, spaciousness and Miso Soup; all the big ones."

On the surface, Borneo are all fun and games. But deep down the five-piece work from a meaningful place that aims to discuss some of the more tedious issues in the world, life, and relationships. The topic at hand today though sits on the lighter end of the spectrum, it's the little brother Jesse and his desire to explore the big bad world. Ahh, to be young again.

Rebel Mindtricks is set for release 23rd February via Habit Music Co. Until then, dig in below.
