Bodega Share Clever New Clip For 'Jack in Titanic'
NYC five-piece Bodega truly are the gift that keeps on giving. This week they've shared yet another addictive track, with a nice element of playfulness to keep things chill.
Lyrically, Bodega have a knack for expressing important social commentary in a light-hearted, clever manner - making these messages a little more palatable for the listener. One of two lead singers, Ben Hozie explained what their latest song is about, "...it's about the learned male behavior and the nostalgia for it. One day I realized that my unspoken internal values ‘of what it means to be a man’ were inherited from the dubious fantasy of the movie."
Mixed in with off-kilter jangly guitars and persistent percussion, it's yet another masterpiece of NYC punk. Watch the video below:
