Brisbane trio Sweater Curse create charming indie-rock built on jangly guitars and heartfelt vocals. With such an impressive, tight sound, it's hard to believe that they’ve only released three songs to date. Today, we’re very pleased to be premiering the beautiful new video for their latest single ‘Can’t See You Anymore’.

Directed by Jennifer Embelton, the video perfectly captures the mood of the song. The attention to detail throughout feels both calm and intimate. As the song builds, things become a little more chaotic, introducing a subtle darkness that makes the message even more powerful. Not to mention the stunning vocals.

Vocalist Mon Sottile said of the clip, "For the video we wanted it to reflect the meaning of the song in realising the patterns of a toxic relationship, but without it being tied to a specific person. Using multiple people made it less about any one person, and more about the situation and behaviour, which is a bit more relatable for our audience. It also kind of spoke to the wariness I had of meeting new people generally after ending the relationship, and the damage it caused."

Sweater Curse are currently working on their debut EP with producer Fletcher Matthews and we can't wait to hear more. They also kick off their single tour in Brisbane this Friday. Until then, immerse yourself in the beauty below.
